Overview

The speaker system incorporates a high stiffness magnesium alloy dome, meticulously engineered to mitigate the effects of dome break-up, ensuring an extended frequency response. A neodymium magnet system is employed to further broaden the frequency response while minimizing eddy current losses in the voice coil. Additionally, provision is made for grounding the driver magnet system, effectively preventing interference and information masking caused by radio interference. Inside, very high purity silver plated matched crystal OFC internal wiring with PTFE coated dielectric ensures optimal signal transmission. Plated terminals and adjustment screws enhance signal transparency, while air core inductors in the crossover contribute to excellent high-frequency characteristics. Non-inductive metal oxide film resistors on ceramic substrates are chosen to eliminate losses typically associated with wirewound types. Completing the setup, high-quality polypropylene film capacitors, specifically selected for high-frequency use, ensure pristine audio reproduction.
