Overview

Each lead is comprised of 483 strands of 0.15 mm high-purity Matched Crystal (MC) oxygen-free copper (OFC), coated densely and purely with silver. The resistance per lead is a mere 0.21 Ohm per 100 meters. The metal cross-section area for each conductor is 8.54 mm², equivalent to AWG 8. The capacitance between the two leads is a low 27 pF/meter. Surrounding the conductors is an additional layer saturated with Linear Structured Carbon®, significantly enhancing the sonic qualities of The MAGNUM HYBRID. The cable jacket, made of HULLIFLEX® 5, is highly flexible and mechanically superior as an insulation material. The plus and minus leads have distinct jacket shapes with gold-colored printing in the flat middle section, serving as easy polarity identifiers. Type printing at a 25 cm (10") distance facilitates the cutting of specified lengths with ease.
