The Proficient AW400 is almost a product category in itself. This super-compact indoor/outdoor speaker fits into almost any space. At just 7¾ inches high, it’s so inconspicuous you can mount a half-dozen AW400s in a backyard and get more consistent coverage than you would with two or four larger speakers. It’s also a perfect choice for small patio-home gardens.
There’s nothing else on the market like the AW400. Not only is it small enough for any outdoor application, it’s so small you can use a dozen of them to spread the sound around the yard. Its ported cabinet and stiff 4-inch polypropylene woofer combine to give you a full, satisfying sound—something few tiny speakers can claim.
The synthetic ¾-inch Supernil tweeter resists mould and mildew while sounding exceptionally smooth. The AW400’s rugged ABS cabinet withstands years of rain, snow and sun. A rustproof powder-coated aluminium grille protects the drivers from damage if a stray football happens to hit the speaker. The swivel bracket lets you mount it vertically or horizontally and point it in any direction you choose.
